Children 3 and older can register for the MOWA Choctaw Eagles Softball and Baseball teams. Registration is $100 per player with discounts available for those in the same household. Learn more by contacting Dale Rivers or the MOWA Choctaw Office.

The 43rd Annual MOWA Choctaw Pow Wow is scheduled for Oct. 4 and 5 at the Pow Wow Grounds, located at 1080 Red Fox Road in Mount Vernon. Gates open Friday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m., and gates open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.
